Emma Zhang is the Co-founder and General Manager of Forte Global Partners and is responsible for guiding the company's growth strategy. Her leadership responsibilities include strengthening the Firm’s industry and functional expertise and driving growth and innovation for the business across Asia.
Prior to joining Forte in 2019, Emma has over 7 years experience as a practice lawyer for well-known foreign firms and more than 12 years experience as a top legal and compliance recruiter across the Asia markets for another top US-headquartered recruitment company in China and Singapore. Her strong industry experience and excellent market insight has enabled her to serve the world’s biggest names in the past 12 years. In recognition of Emma’s outstanding performance, she received numerous high profile awards and honors and she was often quoted by important media on topics about recruitment insights, trends, forecast and changes.
Emma received her Bachelor of Laws degree from Law School of Fudan University in Shanghai China and her Master of Laws degree from Law School of University of Wisconsin at Madison in US. Emma is a member of “The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators” (UK) and a licensed recruitment agent in Singapore. Emma has a strong command of English, Mandarin Chinese and the Shanghai dialect.
Eva is the practice head of Retail and Education of Forte Global Partners. Eva and her team are specialized in placing roles in Senior Management, Sales & Marketing, Product, Buying & Merchandising, Product & Design, E-Commerce areas in Retail Industry and Business Leader, Headmaster, Admissions, Marketing, Academic Management & Development in Education Industry across diversified categories.
Prior to joining Forte , Eva was working with a giant Chinese listed HR service enterprise as Branch Office Head and Regional Practice Head. She has successfully built up a profitable business from scratch. Before that, Eva served in another top US listed recruitment agency where she proved herself a strong biller as well as a reliable recruitment partner to her candidates and clients.
Eva has sharp insights in Retail and Education market. This has enabled her to serve both large enterprises as well as start-up companies. She and her team has lots of successful placements for top tier retail and education companies. She is always client oriented and strong in offering high quality talent market mapping services. Because of Eva’s top performance, she has won numerous awards include but not limited to National Best Placement, Asia Pacific Star Award , Annual Top Supplier and BU Top Biller.
Eva received her Master Degree in Quantum Chemistry from Shanghai Jiaotong University. She has good command of Mandarin Chinese and English.
Dana currently works in Forte’s Legal and Compliance team as Manager for Shanghai market. Prior to joining Forte in 2019, Dana has nearly 9 years’ working experience in two top US recruitment companies with 6 years experience specialized in legal and compliance roles.
Dana has good reputation in the market. Her strong industry knowledge and excellent insight into the legal and compliance profession over the past years enabled her to serve a variety of big companies in China.
Dana has solid track record in placing mid to senior level lawyers including Associates, Counsels and Partners for both international and local law firms, and General Counsels, Legal Counsels, Compliance Leaders and IP Counsels for leading multinational and domestic companies in diversified industries like Manufacturing, Healthcare & Life Science, TMT, Financial Services, Retail & Luxury, FMCG, Real Estate and etc.
Dana graduated from Shanghai Finance University with major in Computer Science, and she has a good command of Mandarin and English.
Laura is in charge of the real estate and property sector in Forte China. Before joining Forte, she was the head and one of the pioneers of the commercial property team in an US-based recruitment firm. Her joining integrates Forte’s service line into a full-function enabled level.
Laura has profound experience in commercial property focusing on mid to senior roles, with tracked record successfully placing Marketing General Manager, Innovation and Investment General Manager, Executive Vice Premier and President Assistant for Wanda Group along with Business Chief for Tahoe Group. Laura repeatedly broke the billing record in her former company, as a result, she was granted as the ‘Best Consultant’, ‘Best Headhunter’ by clients and ‘Most Professional Headhunter’ by candidates.
Laura has led a professional team which recognized as a top service provider and the best strategy provider. Her team has served a different range of clients from foreign-funded (Goodman, Capitaland, Brookfield and etc.), private giants (Wanda Group, Tahoe Group, Vanke Group and etc.), local firms (Pengxin Group, Dongyuan and etc.), innovative enterprises (Dongbai, Shidi and etc.) Moreover, she’s capable of hunting leaders spanned from project director who earns million level annually to business president who earns 10-million level annually.

Priorto joining Forte, Edward worked as a successful recruitment consultant and teamleader for another top US-headquartered recruitment company in Shanghai. Edwardhas a very solid track record in helping global top 10 pharmaceutical companiesand China top life science companies build up their R&D centers in China.In addition, with strong candidate database in US and Europe, Edward is quitefamiliar with the different talent markets around the globe. He has placed lotsof Research Head, Discovery VP, Process Development VP and other technicalsenior positions in the past 9 years in the industries like biology (Oncology,Immunology), Chemistry, CMC (Process Chemistry, Formulation & AnalyticalDevelopment), DMPK, Clinical Pharmacology, Antibody, PharmaceuticalManufacturing and etc.
Steven has more than 10 years’ experience in high-end talent recruitment. Prior to joining Forte, Steven worked as team leader for two world top recruitment firms. He had the experience on helping the team achieved from 0 to more than 10 million RMB revenue in a short term.
Steven looks after Forte’s ICT and Internet team as practice leader for Beijing market. His clients include leading internet companies in China ( for example Tencent, VIPKID, JD, Red, Ma Feng Wo and etc.) and high potential hi-tech unicorn companies (like Yitu Tech, Horizon and etc.). Steven’s team has solid experience in placing mid to senior level R&D, Product, Marketing, User Operation, AI, Big Data and 5G positions. He has placed numerous Product Director, Driverless R&D Expert, CTO and other senior positions in the past ten years.
Steven has kept the record of billing the highest amount on a single placement in his prior company.
